Unaware of the full extent of the changes Naruto's enforced on himself, and with her vision just as obscured as Naruto's, Korra relies on the sound of his feet — is it his feet? — on the ground to keep track of his movement. Skating easily across the ice, even through the snow, Korra waits until he's significantly far from the hole she'd left in the ice when forming it, quickly waterbending a bubble around her head before diving down underneath the full layer of ice.

Kicking strongly, Korra waits until she's at the far end of the pool before turning to stare in his direction, briefly bending the bubble to the side in order to better see through all the water.
