Naruto yelps when he finds himself suddenly enrobed in a large bubble of water. The kawarimi disappears as quickly as it'd come. It'd only ever been a regular copy to begin with, with no chakra of its own. Naruto presses forward into the trapping water, finding it strangely impossible to move through, and not having enough traction or leverage anyway to do much but flop himself against the curved sides in reactionary frustration.

Once tired of reacting, he starts actually thinking. There are a couple plans he could use to his advantage, the foremost being to create shadow clones until the thing just bursts from the inside. But that's too chaotic, and anyway, too much like the way he'd have solved all of his problems years ago.

There are better options now.

There's air in the prison too, and maybe he can use that to his advantage. Actually, he knows he can. She shouldn't have been so kind as to give him breathing space, not with his affinity. Although it leaves him tumbling out in a messy tangle of limbs to land painfully on his stomach against the water below. He winces as he bobs to the surface again. Something about hitting the water at just the wrong angle.

"One element against one element," he shouts over at her, if a little wetly. "I'm pretty sure turnabout counts as fair play!"
